I hired Rob to install tile throughout my house (~1500sqft). He seemed knowledgeable and promised attention to detail. He also has good reviews. He stated that he could complete the job in 5-7 days. Right away, he ran into issues. This house is a complete gut/renovation, so I chalked up the initial issues to ones that were not out of the ordinary = so this was the first delay. Shortly after working through the first issue (walls not straight), he ran into another issue = grout! Now, how does someone who is supposed to be experience in laying tile mess up grout? Supposedly it was a new formula of grout, but the instructions on the back were clear as day. After having issues and the grout drying all over the tile for 3 days while he â researchedâ what to do, the situation got worse as the grout become harder to get off, so this not knowing how to install grout became delay number 2. The 3rd delay shortly followed where it took him nearly 2 days just to clean a small portion of the grout mess. When he finally got around to grouting the entire house, it took him approximately a week to do so.

Rob is a talented professional. I reached out to Rob with a list of some discrete and other complex home repairs I wanted to accomplish before selling my home. Not only did Rob complete the work on the time line discussed and at a reasonable rate, but he also helped me to identify other aesthetic and functional issues I should consider. I was particularly appreciative of his ability to identify and present me with multiple options for conducting the same repair with a reasonable estimate of the time, cost, and anticipated result of each alternative approach. He was also flexible as the identified priorities shifted. Ultimately, I was able to place the home for sale in a timely fashion and unquestionably saw the value his work added when it came time to close. My only regret in retaining Rob to address the large and small issues in my home is that I had not called him sooner so I could enjoy the things he had enhanced.

He is courteous, skilled, and his knowledge covers a vast array of jobs at very fair prices. He always shows up on time, performs his work efficiently and never leaves before cleaning up.
